JRF's Planned Giving eNewsletter
Dear Hevre,
I am pleased to share with you the Jewish Reconstructionist Federation (JRF) Planned Giving eNewsletter, which includes the latest news from Washington, tax law updates, and timely articles. We provide this eNewsletter and website to our leadership, friends, and those who have expressed interest in learning more about the benefits of planned giving as a free service. Please feel free to call me at 847-492-5200 if I can provide an educational illustration of a charitable trust or other life income gift or be of assistance to you.
Since JRF's Interactive Planned Giving Interactive Website debuted in December, this site has had over 17,000 hits. There have now been over 27,000 hits since the site's soft launch in June 2007. This website is being provided by JRF as a service to Reconstructionist congregations as we partner together to establish endowment funds to strengthen our communities and the movement at large. President Urges Passage of Small Business Tax Relief
On August 30th, President Obama spoke in a White House Rose Garden press conference about the economy and the Small-Business Tax Relief Bill. He suggested, "The bill, which has failed to pass a procedural vote several times in the Senate, would enable small-business owners to get the credit they need and eliminate capital gains taxes on key investments so they will have more incentive to act right now." >>>read further
